Dr. Oliver focuses on preventative medicine and improving the overall health of her patients. Many patients that come to see her do not actually have any specific illness, but are seeking to improve their overall health. Often people do not realize that they could feel even better and improve things such as their energy level, quality of sleep, memory, concentration, stress level, anxiety, depression, and overall quality of life. Dr. Oliver also has additional training in natural childbirth, and has a strong interest in working with family planning by getting women healthy for pregnancy. She believes that true prevention starts with the health of one’s mother and father before and during pregnancy. There are volumes of research now showing that many childhood conditions can be linked to maternal health, including IQ, hand-eye coordination, ADD/ADHD, autism, childhood obesity, and diabetes.
